Dispatching Position Available – Carting Industry Experience Preferred

Location: Citywide Container Service – [Queens, New York]

Citywide Container Service is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Routing Dispatcher with a background in the carting industry to join our team. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and rotating Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and supervise C&D garbage routes in all five boroughs and Long Island
• Utilize QuickBooks to create work orders and distribute them to drivers
• Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, and team members
• Precise and clear communication when taking orders from customers over the phone
• Clear penmanship and understanding of general paperwork criteria
• Creating relationships with drivers and customers, dealing with different personalities

Requirements:

• Experience in the carting/waste management or construction industry
• Geographical Awareness of New York
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently with attention to detail
