The Patient Clinical Inquiry Customer Service Agent acts as a key point of contact for patient clinical inquiries and needs, providing exceptional customer service by answering patient telephone calls, assessing issues, determining urgency, and following through to provide timely responses.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

  • Respond to patient telephone inquiries effectively and empathetically.
  • \n
  • Assess the urgency of patient questions and concerns.
  • \n
  • Provide clear and informative responses to patients while adhering to protocols.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure accurate information is communicated.
  • \n
  • Remain calm and effective during emergency situations, prioritizing patient needs.
  • \n
\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n
    \n
  • Completion of an accredited registered nurse program required.
  • \n
  • Three years of hospital nursing experience or prior triage experience preferred.
  • \n
  • Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania.
  • \n
  • Meets the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.
  • \n
  • Within four months of hire/transfer, meets the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and renews ACLS every two years.
