A Systems Engineer job is available with our client in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role you will be responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system. Due to the nature of the work performed in this facility, US Citizenship is required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client is currently seeking a Systems Engineer in our Scottsdale, AZ location.

As a Systems Engineer - eCCM Systems Engineer for the SDA GMI program, you"ll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system.

Skills:
*Satellite communications knowledge
*Ground to Satellite communication knowledge
*Ground operations experience
*Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
*Clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools
*Creative thinker with ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
*Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success
*Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others

Addiotinal Skills to consider:
*Experience with IT equipment configuration management databases
*Experience with managing the tracking and deployment of software updates across an enterprise
*Experience with IT Service Management products such as ServiceNow
*Experience working with multiple software suppliers to manage and track their planned version update cycles
*and other boilerplate SE types of things*
*Experience with development and use of configuration management database

Basic Qualifications:
*Requires a bachelor"s degree in systems engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
*Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a master"s degree.
*Agile experience preferred.
