Accelerated Collision Repair is located in the scenic town of Waynesville, North Carolina. Accelerated Collision Repair is looking to expand and has an immediate job opening for a Structural Auto Body Technician who will safely repair vehicles in accordance with OEM standards using our state-of-the-art equipment. Repairs may include, but are not limited to removing damaged fenders, panels, grills, and reassembling the vehicle parts after painting is complete.

*JOB HIGHLIGHTS & QUALIFICATIONS*

* Must currently have or be willing to obtain proper tools to successfully complete job duties as assigned
* Ability to do consistent physical activity - reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
* Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Work through competing priorities and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment

Extensive knowledge of performing high-quality repairs using up-to-date methods

Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions related to repairs, ask follow-up questions and communicate clearly any obstacles with meeting deadlines and/or standards

Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of structural collision experience required

Paid Skilled Trainings and Certifications - I-CAR and ASE

*REQUIREMENTS*

* 3 to 5 years of prior auto body experience as a collision repair technician required

I-CAR & ASE certifications required or willing to obtain through shop resources.
