Job Description

```Duties```:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and regulations.
- Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

```Skills```:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in account reconciliation, debits, credits, and financial report interpretation.
- Experience in public accounting or corporate accounting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles, debits, credits, and journal entries.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools, such as PeopleSoft or similar systems.
- Ability to perform general ledger reconciliation and bank reconciliation.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail for financial analysis.
- Familiarity with financial concepts and the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of accounting regulations and compliance requirements.
- Previous experience as an accounting clerk or similar role is a plus.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
