Job Title: Receiving Clerk

$23-$24.60/hr Shift Depending!

Job Description

Join our team as a Receiving Clerk, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of products in our cold storage facility. You will be responsible for a combination of forklift operation and on-foot warehouse duties, maintaining a safe and organized environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform 50% of duties on a forklift and 50% on foot, including packing, picking, and general logistics tasks.
• Follow specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily assignments.
• Adhere to all operational processes and procedures to ensure value to the customer and compliance with all policies, customer requirements, and federal/state/local regulations.
• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation.
• Inspect each pallet or case for proper quantities, item brands, lot codes, damages, and any special instructions.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area, assisting in warehouse security.
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
• Participate in all assigned training programs and adhere to all learnings.
• Perform additional forklift responsibilities when case pick work is completed.
• Perform additional job duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Ability to load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack, and stage products and materials using a Stand Up Forklift or other power equipment.
• Follow a set sanitation schedule and provide general janitorial services for the cold storage logistics center.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with inventory management is a plus.

Work Environment

You will be working in a cold storage facility, scheduled for either Weekend 1st Shift (Friday to Monday, 5 AM to 3:30 PM) or Weekend 2nd Shift (Friday to Monday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Century, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.42 - $20.42/hr.
