Intuit is on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals to join our vibrant team as Seasonal TurboTax Live Local Service Experts. This unique opportunity merges your tax expertise with an entrepreneurial spirit to assist customers with their tax needs on a seasonal basis. As a Seasonal Local Service Expert, you will empower customers to achieve positive financial outcomes while aligning with Intuit's mission of Powering Prosperity Around the World.

About the Role:

In this role, you will work on-site from a TurboTax location, serving customers both in-person and virtually using Intuit TurboTax products. Your tax expertise will be essential as you provide comprehensive tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support. Your ability to understand each customer's unique situation is crucial to easing the stress that often accompanies tax season. You'll assist with everything from simple W2 filings to complex scenarios, helping clients navigate their tax responsibilities and explore financial opportunities.

Additionally, you will contribute to expanding TurboTax's presence in the local community, building lasting relationships, and fostering customer loyalty. TurboTax will equip you with essential tools and support to ensure your success.

What You'll Do:

• Provide Tax Expertise: Deliver personalized tax advice and prepare returns for TurboTax clients, handling a variety of tax situations. Conduct discovery sessions to uncover deductions and offer tax planning guidance.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: Cultivate a strong customer base for TurboTax through outreach and engagement. Organize events with TurboTax's support to attract and assist potential clients.
• Educate and Communicate Confidently: Represent TurboTax within your community and engage in local marketing efforts. Host learning events to help demystify taxes for clients.
• Build Relationships: Connect with clients to understand their financial concerns and develop long-term trusting relationships.
• Deliver a Best-in-Class Customer Experience: Create an exceptional customer experience, showing genuine interest in helping clients achieve their financial goals through personal interactions, both in-person and via our advanced communication tools.

Who You Are:

• Holds active credentials such as EA, CPA, or a practicing attorney, with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
• Possesses a valid Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) for tax filing.
• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience in filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season, using professional tax software.
• Familiar with Circular 230.
• Able and willing to work a consistent weekly schedule, with at least 24 hours per week at a TurboTax location.
• Interested in enhancing your local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax resources for your community.
• Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing is beneficial.

Intuit offers a competitive compensation package, including a performance-based pay structure. Expected base pay ranges vary by location, rewarding knowledge and experience. This position also includes eligibility for bonuses and benefits, as per applicable plans.
