Job Description

Soliant is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support an early childhood program serving children ages 25, with most students between ages 3 and 4. This is a full-time, onsite position focused on conducting evaluations, supporting developmental needs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a preschool setting.

Students present with a variety of needs including communication delays, nonverbal profiles, and suspected autism spectrum disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and autism evaluations

  • Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings

  • Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, teachers, and families

  • Observe students in classroom settings and gather data to support intervention planning

  • Consult with staff on behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs

  • Assist in early identification and intervention efforts

  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal guidelines

About the Caseload:

  • Approximately 100 students enrolled at the site

  • Caseload will include a mix of evaluations, follow-ups, and consultations

  • Most students are nonverbal or have speech/language delays, and many are being evaluated for or diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder

Requirements:

  • Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Experience working in early childhood or preschool settings strongly preferred

  • Strong understanding of autism evaluation tools and early developmental milestones

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
