Position Summary As the Production Planning Manager, you will oversee a multi-location scheduling team, drive ERP optimization, and support cross-department collaboration to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction. This leadership role is essential to long-term planning, operational performance, and the company’s strategic growth. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the multi-location scheduling team across all facilities Oversee the scheduling process using Epicor ERP to align production with delivery timelines Serve as the primary contact for scheduling with internal departments and external customers Lead quarterly forecasting and planning sessions with sales, production, logistics, and purchasing teams Ensure proper allocation of resources including labor, materials, and machinery Integrate sales orders into a company-wide master schedule and manage updates as needed Communicate schedule changes and potential delays to stakeholders Coordinate with purchasing and subcontractors to ensure material availability and on-time delivery Monitor inventory, anticipate material needs, and initiate procurement Champion continuous improvement within the planning function Promote and maximize use of Epicor ERP system capabilities Support strategic initiatives and prepare for potential leadership advancement Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or operations management in a manufacturing environment Background in high-precision job shop environments strongly preferred Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of team development Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills Deep familiarity with production planning systems; Epicor ERP highly preferred Demonstrated ability to solve problems and drive continuous improvement Ambition to grow into senior leadership roles Benefits & Perks 10 Paid Holidays Service-Based PTO Quarterly Gainsharing Program (50% of profits shared with employees) Weekly Pay Relocation Assistance On-site Fitness Center & Medical Clinic Climate-Controlled Work Environment Uniforms & Safety Shoe Allowance Provided Free Employee Coffee Performance Merit Raises Friendly, clean, and safe work environment Join a team where leadership, impact, and innovation matter.
