Janitorial Associate

IMCO Carbide Tool in Perrysburg, Ohio is hiring!!

We currently have an opening in our Maintenance department for a Janitorial Associate. If you have a good attitude and work ethic, then this may be the position for you. No experience is necessary! We can train you.

This position is crucial to maintaining our NEW facility!

Schedule: Full Time (40 hours)

Monday thru Friday - choose your schedule from the below options:

7:00a - 3:30p

7:30a - 4:00p

8:00a - 4:30p

Wage

The base rate for this position is $18.00/hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This position will provide janitorial support primarily in our Production facility during our 1st and 4th shifts (weekdays and weekend days). Qualified candidates should have at least one year of previous janitorial experience and must be able to run motorized floor cleaning equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain overall cleanliness of IMCO facility with a focus on the Production facility.
  • Experience on motorized floor cleaner
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion
  • Ability to walk or stand to perform duties, the majority of the day
  • Motivated self-starter
• Assist with other janitorial tasks when requested, including, but not limited to:
  • Trash removal
  • Sweep / Mop
  • Salting of sidewalks
  • Shoveling of walkways
• Assist with minor Maintenance tasks when requested, including, but not limited to:
  • Change filters, change out batteries, move items (use dolly or cart)
  • Possible use of common hand tools

REQUIREMENTS:

• A good attitude and work ethic
• Experience on motorized floor equipment
• Ability to adhere to a schedule
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to use a computer for timekeeping purposes
• Able to work with a variety of personalities
• Knowledge and practice of safety protocols and requirements

Working Conditions:

The Janitorial Associate will work primarily in a production area, where there will be contact with natural oils,

synthetic oils, and various grinding dusts. This area has moderate noise and has climate control.

This position requires the ability to stand for long periods of time, bending, reaching, fine manipulation, reading, and writing.
