Job Description:  

Artilcul8 seeking a highly motivated and talented Intern Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. As an Intern Machine Learning Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI and machine learning projects, collaborating with our team of experienced engineers and researchers to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions that solve real-world problems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI applications, with a focus on optimizing performance for production environments

• Train, fine-tune, and optimize deep learning and large language models ( LLMs ) to achieve state-of-the-art results

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product teams, to integrate AI capabilities into applications

• Evaluate and implement new AI/ML algorithms and techniques to improve model accuracy and efficiency

• Work with large-scale datasets, ensuring data quality, preprocessing, and feature engineering

• Optimize models for cloud and on-prem environments, ensuring low latency and high availability

• Develop APIs and microservices to serve AI models in production

• Stay up to date with the latest AI trends, research, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our AI solutions

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field

• Strong programming skills in Python or PyTorch

• Experience with machine learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, and large language models (LLMs)

• Familiarity with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques

• Experience with cloud platforms , such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience with multi-cloud AI deployments and generative AI

• Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks, such as Spark or Ray

• Experience with edge AI or AI model compression (quantization, pruning)

• Prior experience working on AI SaaS platforms
