Full Arch CAD Designer | Orange County, CA (On-Site)

A well-respected dental laboratory in Orange County is looking to hire a Full Arch CAD Designer with advanced skills in Exocad . This position focuses on complex, full-arch implant restorations and offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment that combines clinical precision with digital innovation.

What Youll Do

• Design high-quality full-arch restorations in Exocad , including:
• Monolithic zirconia cases
• PMMA temporaries
• Bar-retained hybrids
• Immediate load restorations
• Evaluate and interpret scan data, bite records, and lab documentation
• Execute designs that align with Rx forms and clinical preferences
• Ensure designs are functional, esthetic, and production-ready
• Make revisions based on feedback from internal teams and clinicians
• Maintain organized documentation of case activity and design changes
• Coordinate with lab departments to resolve technical challenges and meet deadlines
• Keep up with evolving software tools and implant workflows

Who You Are

• Experienced : 3+ years in dental CAD design, specifically with Exocad and full-arch restorations
• Technically Sharp : Confident handling digital scans, STL files, and CAD/CAM integration
• Knowledgeable : Well-versed in restorative anatomy, implant protocols, and material selection
• Detail-Oriented : Brings precision, esthetic insight, and strong case documentation habits
• Efficient : Able to manage multiple active designs in a time-sensitive setting
• Communicative : Comfortable working across departments in a collaborative lab culture

Skills

• CDT certification or equivalent training
• Familiarity with 3Shape, Dental Wings, or bar design modules
• Experience with 3D printing, milling, or analog-to-digital workflows

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $30 to $45 based on experience
• Sign-On Bonus: $1,000 to $2,000
• Relocation: Considered for highly qualified candidates
