Board-Certified Attending Physician for Nursing Home in St. Louis, MO - Join a Leading Nationwide Healthcare Company!

A reputable nationwide company providing healthcare services to nursing homes is seeking to immediately hire a Board-certified Doctor to serve as an attending physician at a nursing home in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in primary and long-term care (LTC) and a valid state license. Compensation is very rewarding, plus a generous benefits package.

Responsibilities:

Act as the primary care provider for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), taking responsibility for their medical management
Conduct patient rounds, collaborating with NPs and PAs to assess and manage resident care
Diagnose and treat patients with acute illnesses while overseeing the management of ongoing medical conditions
Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care planning with residents and their families
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations
Work closely with nurses, therapists, and specialists to provide comprehensive care

Requirements:

A board-certified physician with experience in primary care and long-term care (LTC)
Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively support and mentor NPs and PAs in delivering care
Ability to work full-time and travel.
The doctor is expected to focus solely on the responsibilities within this role and may not work for another nursing home or private practice. However, an affiliation with a hospital is highly encouraged and welcomed

Salary Range: $200,000 - $300,000
