Job Description

Position Title: Electrical Assembler

Wage: $20.00 per hour

Shift: 1st; 3rd 

Hours: 5:00am-1:30pm; 6:00pm-2:30am

QPS Employment Group has great 1st and 3rd shift opportunities for Electrical Assemblers at a growing company in Machesney Park, IL. This position has the opportunity for hire. 

Electrical Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assembly of electrical components to build large back-up generator housings. Various hand and pneumatic tools will be used during the process while following detailed blueprints. Testing the units will also be a required step in the process
- Blueprint and mechanical drawing reading.
- Assemble and test parts to specification.
- Connect cables, bend conduit, and wiring, according to specifications.
- Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
- Operate hand tools.
- Panel wiring.
- Operating Pneumatic tools.

Electrical Assembler Requirements:
- Previous blueprint reading experience.
- Previous assembly experience.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Dexterity and ability to work with hands.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
