The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Dining Room Supervisor to join our team at Skyland Lodge in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. As a Dining Room Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of service is provided to our guests.

What will you do?

• Assist in maintaining planned bar and restaurant cost of sales
• Hire, train, and manage an effective group of team members, with alignment to Delaware North programs and service standards
• Partner with the kitchen team to ensure guests are served the highest quality meals
• Assist with the management of staffing levels in accordance with budgets and business volume

More about you

• No college degree required
• Three or more years of high-volume casual dining experience required
• Basic math skills for cash and inventory duties
• Word-processing, spreadsheets, and email experience preferred

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift or carry 50 lbs
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
