$75,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Contracts Manager to join our fast-paced Sales industry. This role is a unique opportunity to be a part of a growing team, driving the negotiation and management of contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of contract law, drafting, redlining, and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of managing complex contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a variety of contracts, including sales, licensing, and service agreements.
  • Maintain and manage the contract database, ensuring all contracts are accurately recorded, updated, and easily accessible.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure contracts meet business objectives and comply with legal requirements.
  • Review contracts for potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate the contract approval process, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained in a timely manner.
  • Participate in board meetings, providing expert advice on contract matters.
  • Implement and manage a contract lifecycle management system, ensuring efficient contract processing and tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance policies and procedures in all contract activities.
  • Train and guide staff on contract procedures and best practices.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in contract law and relevant industry regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field. A Juris Doctor degree will be considered a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract management, preferably in the Sales industry.
  • Demonstrable experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining contracts.
  • Solid understanding of contract law and its application in the business environment.
  • Proficiency in using contract database systems.
  • Experience in licensing agreements and corporate governance.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify potential contract risks and propose effective solutions.
  • Experience in participating in board meetings and providing expert contract advice.
