CNC Lathe Machinist (Cincinnati, OH)\n

Blue Chip Tool Co. is hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a steady, full-time, first-shift role in a family-owned, fully air-conditioned job shop . Responsibilities\n

• Program, set up, and operate Mazak 2-axis CNC lathes using Mazatrol at the machine.
\n
• Machine precision parts to exact customer specifications in a low-volume, high-precision job shop .
\n
• Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and GD&T requirements.
\n
• Verify setups, tolerances, and dimensions using precision inspection tools.
\n
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
\n
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot as needed.
\n

✅ Qualifications\n

\n
• 3–5+ years of experience as a CNC lathe machinist (not just operator).
\n
• Strong skills in Mazatrol programming directly at the machine.
\n
• Hands-on experience with Mazak Quick Turn lathes or similar CNC turning equipment.
\n
• Ability to hold tight tolerances and complete parts from start to finish.
\n
• Skilled in blueprint reading, GD&T, and use of precision measurement tools.
\n
• Comfortable in a prototype and production machining environment .
\n
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and focused on quality craftsmanship.
\n

Compensation & Benefits\n

• Pay: $25 – $35/hour (based on experience).
\n

Schedule\n

• First shift only
\n
• Flexible start: 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM

• Monday – Friday, ~8 hours/day

• Occasional Saturday mornings and overtime available
