$300,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr

Purpose of the Position

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the newly-created Chief Operating Officer position will oversee the companys operating engine. This individual will translate strategy into day to day execution, scale the distribution and client service capabilities, and build the infrastructure that propels the companys next stage of growth. This is a hands on leadership role for a builder who thrives in white space, wears multiple hats with ease, and is motivated by the chance to help shape a category defining company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer and other executives to shape and execute the firms strategic roadmap, with a focus on scaling distribution and servicing RIAs.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, processes, and systems to drive efficiency and support scaling.
  • Oversee the Operations teams day-to-day operational activities to ensure exceptional client experience and alignment with firm goals.
  • Design and implement scalable operational frameworks and workflows.
  • Continually improve and refine current frameworks as needed.
  • Evaluate and oversee third-party service providers, including custodians, fund administrators, compliance vendors, and CRM/tech stack solutions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to operations, compliance, and technology deployment.
  • Build, mentor, and inspire high performing teams across multiple functions, champion a culture of ownership, accountability, and excellence.
  • Drive cross functional collaboration so that product, distribution, operations, and finance have alignment.
  • Establish and manage KPIs that keep teams focused on the metrics that matter.
  • Implement robust operational risk management frameworks to protect investor capital and the firms reputation.
  • Partner with external vendors and internal counsel to ensure full compliance with SEC and other applicable regulations.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Deliver timely, accurate reporting to the CEO and Boardcovering financials as well as KPIs.

Experience and Professional Qualifications

  • Deep RIA / asset management expertise understand the operational nuances of serving advisors (optional).
  • Proven scalertrack record of building infrastructure in an early stage or growth stage asset manager.,
  • Metrics driven mindsetfluent in translating strategy into operational, financial, and performance KPIs.
  • Highly collaborative, adaptable, and intellectually curiouscomfortable navigating ambiguity and wearing multiple hats.
  • Customer centric orientation and approachable communication style.
